Persian Women illustrative design

The brief was to design Persian women in different activities of happiness and sadness. The work needed to have a contemporary look while depicting the traditional culture that women are coming from. 

Inspired by traditional Persian painting and the delicacy of its forms and lines, I made a contemporary style which combined fluid forms of Persian plantations depicted in old paintings with contemporary abstract shapes and nude women. Today's Persian nude women dance and rest and even fall down in this new world.
